Live Review  Bikers Against Child Abuse

Saturday, October 14, 2006

B. A. C. A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse) House in Olden, Texas.

Verdict Of Vengeance, XII Gage Payne, Diesel, ¾ Ton

The night started off as a huge BACA Benefit.  The casue was to raise money for BACA as a whole.  Playing on this event were 4 metal bands from Dallas, Texas.

Verdict Of Vengeance started off the night with some heavy tunes to wake the crowd up from rainy cold weather. Starting off the set with a  new song titled “I Bleed In Purple Water” and finishing the night off with “Mother Chaos”  The band had a blast on stage.  Despite the technical difficulties, there was a 30 minute intermission halfway through the set.  The guys were not hapy but carried on.

Following them was the band XII Gage Payne.  This band featured ex-members of Kromium and Machined.  Their music was heavy and groovy, however they had the displeasure of working with a guitar am that died on stage with them.  They weren’t very happy nor were they  disappointed about their performance.  The singer said that they for some reason, have a bad amp problem every show they do.

Diesel took the stage.  Right off the bat, their rhythm guitarist/singer’s guitar strap breaks.  They continue with only their lead guitarist.  They made it through the set and got off stage.

The headliners of the show, ¾ Ton finally takes the stage after a couple of jager shots and beers.  They have a new addition to the band with a 2nd guitarist.  The band did a very good job though and was very impressive.

All 4 of these bands are amazing..  Everyone of them should be che3ckec out by you, the reader of this review.  Sorry it was very short but the night was a bit slow for everyone.  Half the crowd got rained out

Everyone had fun though and that’s all that matters.
