CHAPPO Debut "Come Home" Video

 Picture_3

"Come Home" is the lead track off the band's debut Plastique Universe EP
This has got to be one of the best independent videos I have seen in a long while! The concept is out of this world, and the production value is simple but very entertaining. The music is awesome!  The actors are straight out of MTV circa 1980 something as if they just jumped out of the "Take on Me" video by the Norwegian pop band A-ha which also was a land mark piece of it's time.  CHAPPO could be headed that way, too, if they can keep this  up. The meter is fun and has an old school feel much like "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell or "Video Killed The Radio Star" by New Wave group The Buggles, which was by the way released as their debut single on  September 7, 1979 and  was the first music video shown on MTV in the U.S.  The song "Come Home" itself has a very similar feel to it, and the band is reminicent of everything that made the 80s great. Job well  done!
