Live Review Dead Dog Barn
The night started off with a good opener, a new band fresh
on the market with former members of 3/4 Ton and Coencide. The
band’s
name is Fallen South. They played some very nice and heavy tunes
to get
the crowd riled up for the night. They mix a majority of
screaming vocals
with some clean tone vocals. Their guitarists were tight
and the
bass was boomin’. The drummer was rock solid with his
performance..
All together, the band did a very good job and you should check them
out when
you get the chance, if heavy music is what you’re into.
Subversion
Subversionwas the next band on the list, This being their first time to play a show if this kind of environment, they did not know what to expect. However, the performance went very well for them and they enjoyed every moment of the time they were there, onstage or off. They had fresh new merch off the shelves for sale. A powerhouse drummer and well-defined low end mixed with twin guitars, that actually did co-harmonic stuff, and a singer who does nothing but bring his aggression to you in a way you feel it, makes the band, and they are of no disappointment to the metal fans and new people they’ve never seen before. Everyone enjoyed them as well as they did themselves.

Verdict Of Vengeance
To be honest, the show started off very smoothly. The show was bringing a new song ot the set list. The crowd always enjoys the songs VoV plays, especially Whirlwind. Their CD “Loyal Opposition” will be released pretty soon. Be sure to give them a listen when you get the chance.

The Razorblade Dolls
Aside from being put with the wrong crowd, The Razorblade Dolls got up there and delivered their performance to a highly intoxicated crowd. Not much can be said for these guys, They perform their music very well and are very good at what they play. The band definitely has potential.

Everyone had a great time and no one left disappointed. The barn will always have good shows and has never had a bad night. Look for a future barn party soon
