Enter
CD Review

I admire James Craig, lead guitar and
vocalist for Enter, for going
back and finishing the work of some excellent late musicians,
keyboardist Johnathan Melvoin, bassist David Coleman, and drummer Sid
Ferreira, even after his own battle with cancer. As a matter
of fact , the musicianship on Enter was so great I think I may
have enjoyed it more as an instrumental CD. It had almost a
Santana feel to it. My biggest complaint was the repetitive
choruses. By the fourth track it became comical. I knew the
title of the song was going to be repeated at least three times in the
chorus. The chorus of "Look" was "Look, now look. Look,
just look. Look, now look. Look, just look."
The chorus of "Black Widow" was "Black widow, black widow, black widow
trying to capture me." You get the idea. Overall,
though, the music was awesome. I loved the congas. Perhaps
just leave the repetitive choruses out, and just let the music speak
for itself between the versus.
