What can I say? This one is
a winner. Heather Knox, a singer songwriter from Dallas is giving
Alanis Morisette a run for her money. The sexy alt-rock singer
began her music career at Club Dada's open mic in 1999, and soon after
won a semi-finalist position in the B.W. Stevenson Memorial Songwriter
Competition at Poor David's Pub. She has since turned her music
career into a full time job recording her debut self-titled album, and
it shows. Everything about it is spectacular from her punchy,
artistic lyrics to the band backing her up, and, unlike some CDs today,
every song does not sound the same. The album is as diverse as
Morisette Jagged Little Pill with everything from punchy
alt-rock to a lullaby. This girl's serious and headed for the big
time!
