Jad B. Saxton of No Mystery
Jad B. Saxton is a 25 year old vocalist born and raised in Dallas, TX.
She is a recent graduate of Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor
of Arts in Music. Jad is a versatile soprano who performs in classical,
musical theater, and jazz venues. While at Wesleyan, she was a member
of Wesleyan Singers, Trouveres, Wesleyan Chorale, and 1st Jazz Band.
Jad was honored with two musical scholarships during her tenure at
Wesleyan, as well as being a performer in the prestigious Presidents
Honors Concert. For her senior project she produced and starred in the
opera The Medium by Gian Carlo Menotti. Prior to Wesleyan, she toured
abroad with the Brookhaven Jazz Ensemble for three years, where she
performed as a member of the ensemble as well as a soloist. She was
also a member of the female jazz trio CRC in which she sang Andrew
Sister’s style harmonies and choreographed their performances. Jad has
performed in many theaters in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex including
Theatre Three, Runway Theatre, and Starlight Inc. She received a Column
Award in 2003 for her role as Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie
Brown at Grapevine’s Runway Theatre. Some of her major music influnces
include Ella Fitzgerald,
Peggy Lee, Sarah Vaughn, and Jane Monheit. Check out Jad in her
