Live in NC - Darrell Scott
A live album this good can only be produced by a true
professional. Darrell Scott has been named Songwriter of the Year
by ASCAP in 2002 and by the National Songwriters' Association
International in 2001. His songs have been recorded by artists
such as Maura O'Connel, Pat Green, John Cowan, Bill Miller, Tim McGraw,
Dixie Chicks, and Faith Hill. Listening to Live in NC it's easy to see
why. His songs are masterfully written and soulfully
played. Darrell has said "The songs that have been successful for
others were the last ones I thought other artists would record.
They were such inside songs for me. They're songs I like a
lot. I put them on my records - that's how other artists knew
about
them." When a song comes from the heart, it's sung and played
from the heart, and it shows. It's no wonder to me why other
artists were also touched by these songs. If you like truly
soulful country music from an original artist, pick up a copy of Live
in NC, and be on the lookout for Hank Williams' Ghost, an album of
all
new songs scheduled for release this year. Find out more at www.darrellscott.com.
