Rosa Parks and friend come For a visit at "The
Black Academy of Arts and Letters"

     "TBAAL" once again puts on one of the finest productions I have seen.In two
one person plays of historical figures from our past have been brought back to
life for our inspiration and edification. Rosa Parks portrayed by star of stage,
screen and television Ella Joyce, And, the role of Marcus Garvey portrayed 
by Ron Bob-Semple. Ms. Ella Joyce once again gives a heart warming, and
inspiring performance ,  transforming herself into Ms. Park who is give a
visitors pass, by God so to speak, to come to Earth and tell us her story and
how touched she was by the respect show her in her passing. One could only feel
that Ella Joyce was host to  Ms. Parks spirit on stage.
    Mr. Semple portrayed the role of the indomitable Marcus Garvey national hero
of Jamaica, founder of the back to Africa movement, and founded of
Universal_Negro_Improvement_Association_and_African_Communities_league. Mr.
Semple  give the meaning to the the quote "Look for me in the whirlwind" show
Garvey's strength and charisma. Mr Semple's performance made a great companion to
the PBS  "The American Experience" program.
