State of the Art

We started this band when kasey and I were in 9th grade, evan and tom in 8th. We were all best friends I guess, and, well we love music. For about the first 5-6 months, we weren't that great, and we would never play any shows. we just constantly practiced and practiced, but probably way too much, and everything was falling apart. Thats about the time Evan quit, and it was four months before our first show. We werent really getting along, so we were like "fine, whatever." But the headlining band (Till death do us part) was like, "no way, you guys are young, but you're all talented. You have to do this." So, I guess they talked us into getting back into the show, and in one weekend we got this temporary drummer, and learned 5 songs (well, 3 of our own, 2 Deftones covers) and we through it all together and played a great show, and the crowd went wild for us. We were crazy in shows, and after about 3-4 more, we were like, we have got to get Evan back. Because, I mean, it wasn't the same without our original drummer, and I guess we were all like brothers. So, we asked Evan, and he came back. He attended all our shows before with david, and he loved us, and knew we had improved a whole lot. So he was definitly up for it. So, to make a long story short, we practiced our asses off with Evan, and we were ready to just play the most wild shows, and playing shows is what we did. Our last show was at Tomcats, and thats where I met you. I guess were just looking for more gigs whenever to play. E-mail back for anything else.
