The Destro, Mugzu, Speakeasy, and The Suicide Hook
Blast me for a fool- I showed up late, and ended up missing The Suicide Hook and Speakeasy (the band I was there to see, who still got my money anyway). I still got to see Denton's two bands, Mugzu and The Destro, put on one hell of a kick-ass show though. Even though the people at Curtain Club were "too cool" to head bang, it didn't stop me. What's wrong with rocking out? I just close my eyes and listen to the music. Denton's Mugzu kicked ass! What can I say? They both did. Though the crowd was dead, the musicians weren't. That's what's great about being a musician- it's your job to rock out, and you do it whether people are watching or not. Both of these bands did a kick ass job and I look forward to seeing them both play in front of a packed house!

Texasradio1.com's Chaz sure knows how to pick 'em! My only question is this- why on Earth would he have it on a Sunday?
