Live Review Verdict of Vengeance debuts at TAC
Room in Deep
Ellum
Unfortunately I got to the club late and missed the first two bands Seasons of Betrayal and Darkest Path
.The streets were some what dead in most parts of ellum except for the
TAC Room where a good size crowd had gathered for the show . Severed Blood
Loss had
just kicked
off their set when I made my way into the club
guitarist
Harley and Scott on
Bass hammered the crowd with a solid old
school crunch while singer Dave
was all over the
stage working the fans who had gathered near to the stage to suck in
the energy of the Blood loss. Good job .
Next was Verdict of Vengeance
making their
debut along with a new lead singer .The band once known as Diamonion
has risen from the ashes like the phenix with a firey new
beginning and sound. At this show this evening Verdict
of Vengeance
graced us with about half new songs and the rest were
reworked Diamonion
tunes .With this being Greg's first
show
he did a good job even making
his way to the front of the
stage for a few songs but he played safe behind the rest of
the band for most of the night .Hope he will come out of his shell
because he did a real good job. But hey Jim Morrison started this
way and look where he went Mad? Speaking mad as a hatter guitarist
Matt
and drummer
Geared were on their game
and all over the
stage as was basest AL
and
rhythm guitarist Chris
.I think I
like this new look
and sound .You can check them for your self at Slugg Fest on May 27
.
