Why am I doing this ?
I don't know how many tmes I have had this question posed to me "
Why am I doing this ?" musicans by he dozens have asked.
After years of releasing CD after CD and playing all over the place,  we still feel like we're not really getting anywhere!  To this I say join the crowd  and
welcome to the real world . Everyone who holds any kind of job  that is competetive in nature  runs into this wall at some point in their career.   In the world of show biz, it is who you know  and where your sound  is at the time  and place.   Really that is it in a nut shell . The music biz is a pigeon hole kind of game;  if your sound does not fit into a hole  it might be looked at as hard to market. It's  all about money to them.  As for  the artist be true to yourself and don't worry about the money.  Every great musician will tell you that at some point the money will run out, but the art is still there.  So now I say to you if you stop playing, writing or performing there will be no art left.  Remember,  how can you make it if you don't keep trying?
