Live Review The  Mark Gorman Band
         On  the last day  of the big  Nascar weekend , The Mark Gorman Band entertained some of the lucky fans of the exiting 40.000 + folks caught in the traffic who were lucky enough to make it to the Shady Oak's Barbecue off 820 ! Great music Great food what better wy to end the Nascar car week end ? Mark Gorman's plays a very loose  and fun style of country music .Comprised of a little blues  some Jazz with a  solid foot hold on the traditional sound of  country music. But then right when you think you have this band  in a pocket they hit you  in the face with a song like  "Lsat dance with mary jane" and blow your boots off .Then  to top that Whisky river Take my mind  the band is all over the map , of texas that is Mark Gorman has won many awards and has played  with  folks like Gary P Nunn and will be opening for Brian  McComas at this years wildflower festival !Once again Texas is proving that if nashville is the music city then Texas  is  the country music state !
