Key Dragon, Drink From the
Waters of War
Key Dragon is something
different.
Rather than just being another angry metal band, they're a gothic/power
metal band that creates an out-of-this-world artform with steady,
slow-paced music filled with all sorts of unusual sounds from
synthesizers to saxophone to odd vocals- ranging from growling to
singing to screaming. Listening to their CD is a musical experience
that can be described in one word... different. Being a huge sword and
sorcery fan myself, I'm delighted to see the realm of fantasy being
brought into the realm of music. With songs such as "Calling the
Dragon," "Draconic Power," "The Mystic Comes," and "Draconis Pyre,"
they tell stories of war and battle, death and doom, magic, mystery,
and mayhem.
