For some quick back ground  miss Lain was not always in the show biz industry as unlike some of her other DFW fellow artists struggling to make it to the lime
light.
  Shelley Lain  came from the sports world .But  right when it looked like Olympic dreams were in reach  and an injury brought her to music here in Texas  and the rest of the show business industry which is what we call in the biz fate.  At  the  show I saw  this the State Fair of Texas performance was a mix of original and cover materiel. Shelley Lain has a very honest and down to earth approach to the singing and playing .Even though she is a new comer to the country music scene ,Shelley Lain commands the stage like a seasoned pro .Her singing style likens to that  of Reba  and  Ann Murry .
